Justicetown are a Scottish rock band who are the real deal. Their songs speak of all aspects of modern life, the good and the bad. The band is fronted by songwriter David MacMillan (cousin of Scottish contemporary composer James MacMillan).
Their debut album This Is Not Food was released in 2004 and the band quickly developed a cult following. A 4 track EP titled Don’t Look Up was then released in 2007 to consolidate their live work. The media have picked up on this exciting band with extensive radio plays throughout Europe and College radio in the USA. Last year the band took a break after a hectic 5 years but are now back in the rehearsal studio working on songs for a new album to be recorded in the summer of 2010. There will be some brand new songs and some favourites from the live show that have never been recorded.
Justicetown will be back on the live circuit later this year so check out the gigs page for the new dates for 2010.
