About us

Justicetown are a 3 piece band from Dumfries in south west Scotland. They have pioneered their own sound playing only original material at all of their gigs. The songs are an honest reflection of modern life and its ups and downs. Soulful ballads to full on ‘rock your socks off’ numbers make it hard to pigeon hole this band.

The present line up has been together since 2006 with Davie McMillan on guitar & vocals, Brian Morrell on bass guitar and Chris (Pamps) Lennon on drums.

They have played their original songs all over south west Scotland, Cumbria, the Borders, Edinburgh, Glasgow and the summer festival circuit.

Tracks from the debut Album ‘This is not food’ and EP ‘Don’t look up’ have been played on local and national radio. Also college radio in the USA have picked up on some of the tracks and many websites feature the songs.

The band have fans from all over the world who regularly visit the websites. CDs have gone out to France, Spain, Italy, USA, Australia, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Norway and Sweden.

In 2009 via Real Play Radio two songs from the album, ‘You’re my lover’ and ‘Get it on’ were played in stores throughout the UK, Austria and Hungary in such outlets as Argos, Wickes, Poudstretcher and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

After a well earned rest last year, the boys are back in the rehearsal studio working on new material to record and play live later in 2010. Check out the websites for all the latest info on gigs.
